ERP & CRM Development

This is the smallest section on the site and the most specific. It comes out of building a 25-module ERP system and client CRM panels — the kind of long, unglamorous project where architectural decisions compound and mistakes are expensive to reverse.

Two questions come up constantly with clients, and both are covered here directly: what a custom ERP actually costs against off-the-shelf options like Tally or SAP, and when a custom CRM is justified for a small or mid-sized business versus taking something ready-made. I have written those with Indian SMB budgets in mind, because that is the market I work in and the pricing advice written for US mid-market does not transfer.

The rest is delivery experience. Running AI coding assistants across a codebase of that size behaves very differently from running them on a side project — context limits, cross-module refactors, and code review all get harder as the system grows. The comparisons here are written against that specific workload, which is narrower than a general benchmark but a good deal more honest about where the tools break.
